WHO WE ARE:
- Yello
Dyno - Child Protection has
successfully brought this turnkey child abduction prevention program
to over 200 school districts in New York State since 1998 through
this grant.
- We
are a scientifically, research-based company and all information is
presented to music in a non-fearful manner.
- Students,
parents and teachers are empowered with personal life skills to last a
lifetime.
- Pre-and
post-testing has shown that the knowledge of personal safety was 80%
higher following the presentation of assemblies and curricula.
- All
programs fulfill the New York State mandated education law 803-a.
GOALS AND OBJECTIVES:
- Provide
children with the knowledge and life skills they need to avoid child
abduction, recognize deceptive behavior and the tricks used by “Tricky
People” – those who mean them harm.
- Provide
teachers with training and teacher-friendly classroom materials using the
Yello Dyno pro-curricula and live assemblies to engage children in this
fun, non-threatening learning process.
- Equip
parents with knowledge by providing supporting materials and a multimedia
PowerPoint presentation so they are able to reinforce these skills at
home.
